The beloved Netflix anthology series – which tells grippingly spooky tales about technology in the modern world – certainly has lots of ground to cover since Season 5. But in a surprise announcement on 26 April, the show’s official Twitter account shocked the Internet with a new Black Mirror Season 6 trailer. It has been sorely missed in the years since, particularly due to world-changing events (such as Covid-19) and technological developments like NFTs and the rise of AI chatbots. It Will Tie Into Warzone: There were no new details on this today, but Activision has talked in the past about how it wants Warzone to be a thread that runs through multiple Call of Duty games, so we can assume that we’ll get major updates to Warzone to tie into Black Ops: Cold War, likely involving zombies.Black Mirror has been off our screens since 2019.
Multiplayer Reveal September 9: The next date on our calendar is September 9, when we’ll be getting a full multiplayer reveal. Zombies also offer some live service options beyond multiplayer. We don’t know if this year’s iteration will be as big as that, but I hope so. Zombies offer insane, arcade-style fun, and Black Ops 4 had a pretty expansive mode. Listings refer to Cold War experiments, and I’m excited to see what we’ve got in store this time.
